Sure, we haven’t had the same luck as Boston, but we’re not exactly Cleveland either. But that text did get me thinking about Detroit sports as a whole, and the future of them.

They’ve been working out since mid-March away from team facilities and in small groups, and later this month, the Detroit Lions will gather for more football-related activities.
Lions captain Kyle Vanden Bosch told the Associated Press that players plan to gather the week of May 16 for offensive and defensive drills.
5. Mikel Leshoure, RB, Lions — He seems to be a bargain for Detroit at No. 57 overall, and this is another case of a team trading up for running-back help.
