I was in Las Vegas for a few days recently and I made an effort to get into a sports book to see the odds for a Super Bowl win for all NFL teams. I was also interested to see what the odds were for winning a NFC or an AFC Championship.

Even with the uncertainty surrounding the NFL’s labor situation, the Detroit Lions are seeing a “significant” increase in sales of season-ticket packages. The Detroit News quotes Tom Lewand as saying:

We are significantly ahead of where we were last year and last year we experienced significant growth over 2009. The trend has continued and even accelerated in 2011 vs. 2010. We are up significantly in new ticket sales and we’re up also significantly in our overall season-ticket base with renewals on existing season-ticket holders.

While the team is headed upward, ticket prices are holding steady. The team previously announced that ticket prices would remain at 2010 levels. Season ticket packages range from $300 in the Roar Zone to $2000 for seats in the center of the club level and include tickets to both preseason games and all eight regular season games. The Thanksgiving Day game has always been a hot ticket, a Monday Night Football game in town will make for at least one more.
