As the Lions rise from relevant to contender we can expect to see more of our favorite gridiron heroes in ads like the two that have recently appeared on television:
Lions players repping Chrysler and Acura may seem odd considering the team is owned by the Ford family I don’t see anything wrong with Ndamukong Suh and Calvin Johnson appearing in ads for other automakers, especially considering the fact that I can’t think of a recent Ford commercial that featured an athlete.
