Anybody who watched the National Championship game in January saw that Fairley was clearly the most dominant force on the field. Much like Suh manhandled Colt McCoy and the Longhorns in the Big 12 Championship one year earlier, Fairley was regularly in the backfield before McCoy could hand off the ball or complete play-action. Back to back Lombardi Trophy winners is unprecented in NFL draft history. The Lions hit this one out of the park!!! Absolutely love this pick.
