Detroit Lions Select Titus Young with the 44th Pick in the 2011 NFL Draft

The Detroit Lions have made their second selection of the 2011 NFL draft:

Who: Titus Young
What: Wide Receiver
Where: Boise State
When: Round 2, Pick 12 (44th Overall)
Why: The Lions need a deep threat receiver to play on the outside opposite Calvin Johnson and they must believe they have their man in Titus Young. Nate Burleson will keep his WR2 status but will move to the slot in three receiver sets. This means very bad things for Derrick Williams.
