Poll: What is Your Interest Level this Draft Season?

Those that monitor web traffic have noted that numbers are down this year compared to previous years when it comes to the NFL. Ty tackled this issue in a post at The Lions in Winter. Go read it, I’ll wait for you to come back.

Welcome back, I’m sure you enjoyed Ty’s piece as much as I did. It is a topic I’ve been thinking about recently. The lockout is certainly a dark cloud hanging over the league right now but it hasn’t done anything to stifle my interest in this year’s draft. The Lions pick at 13 adds to the intrigue for me as there are a number of potential scenarios as to how it will play out. There will be football again, we just don’t know when, so why give up on an annual event as big as the draft?

You know how I feel so I’m sure it is obvious how I answered the poll question below. I can see how some might be down on the draft due to labor uncertainty or the fact that there is less star-power attached to the 13th pick as compared to where the Lions have been usually picking over the last decade. I’d like to get a feel for exactly where SLR readers’ feelings are on this year’s draft and why they feel that way. Vote in the poll and leave a comment to explain your answer.

What is your interest level in the 2011 draft?
