Who do you think will win a championship first: the perpetual laughingstock Detroit Lions or the new laughingstock Detroit Pistons?

The Lions finished with a mediocre 6-10 record, but they won their last four games, including a 7-3 win against Green Bay that set football back into the Stone Age.

Detroit finished 17th in total offense, and 12th in total defense. However, those stats don’t tell the whole story.

The Detroit Lions had three second-round picks in 2007, and depending on what Drew Stanton is able to do in the future, it’s possible that they could end up missing on all three. Stanton is the only one left on the Lions, as Gerald Alexander was traded after the 2008 season and Ikaika Alama-Francis was released prior to the 2009 season.
