Ndamukong Suh to appear on T.Ocho Show on VERSUS

Detroit Lions fans that can’t get enough of Ndamukong Suh should plan to tune into VERSUS tomorrow night. Suh will join Terrell Owens and Chad Ochocinco on the T.Ocho Show.

Will Suh’s humilty rub off on T.O. and Ochocinco? Probably not, but we can rest assured that their brashness won’t rub off on our new hometown hero.

Here is a quick preview of what you can expect when the program airs:

About the show:

The show, which airs regularly on Tuesday nights at 10:30 p.m. ET, features T.O. and OchoCinco going head-to-head to discuss the
hottest news in and around the NFL, sports in general and pop culture. Kevin Frazier, who is currently the weekend host and correspondent for Entertainment Tonight, serves as the show’s host to referee the on-screen mayhem between the two stars. Frazier has more than 15-years of on-air experience across various networks, including ESPN, where he hosted SportsCenter as well as FOX Sports Net, where he hosted FOX Sports News and served as a sideline reporter for NFL games.

Ndamukong Suh Named to All-Pro Team, Calvin Johnson Honored as Second Teamer

The awards train keeps rolling for Lions rookie Ndamukong Suh. The Associated Press released their All-Pro team today and Suh joined Baltimore Raven Haloti Ngata as the two defensive tackles. No other rookie was named to the first team.

Calvin Johnson was named to the second team after Roddy White and Reggie Wayne filled their spots as All-Pros. Megatron was joined on the second team by fellow receivers Brandon Lloyd and Dwayne Bowe.

Grading the Detroit Lions: Defensive Line

This post is part of a series of posts in which I review the Lions position groups based on their play in the 2010 season. I assign a letter grade and give you a chance to have your say with a poll at the end.

Every rebuilding plan has to start somewhere and when it came to the defensive side of the ball the Lions chose the defensive line as their starting point.

Kyle Vanden Bosch was priority number one when the clock struck midnight to begin the free agency period prior to the 2010 season. Jim Schwartz traveled to Tennessee to pay his former player a visit and talk to him about joining forces in Detroit. KVB was receptive to the idea and didn’t take long to accept the offer and immediately brought a quality veteran presence to the defense. His season was cut short by neck season but he was able to eclipse his total season statistics from 2009 in just eleven games to show that he has plenty left in the tank. Vanden Bosch’s importance transcends his production on the field as he leads by example on the practice field, film room and weight room.
