No doubt Greenway is fast, but he isn’t Jahvid Best fast. Key will be getting the Vikings in nickel formations.

The Vikings defense ranks 7th in terms of yardage…its 16th in points allowed, which to me is the biggest stat that matters on defense. The Lions have actually done really well against the blitz and pass protection this season. The Vikings came with a genious game plan for Michael Vick. They closed off the left side, which is where he runs most of the time. In the game, you could see him dancing around looking to run and not finding anything on many downs. The same game plan utilized against the Lions won’t work since the Lions offense is vastly different from the Eagles.

I don’t know where you get your information, but on NFL.com the Vikings Defense is ranked 7th overall. If the Vikings defense plays the way they did against the Eagles I don’t think the Lions realistically have a chance to win or score 24-34 points. The Eagles have the #1 ranked offense in yards per game and rank #2 at points per game at 28. If the vikings blitz like they did against the Eagles i don’t think the Lions offense will have much production.
