Detroit Lions Player Status Report for Week 16

Matthew Stafford’s season officially ended earlier this week when the Lions put him on injured reserve. The move may have been necessitated by the unlikelihood that Louis Delmas will be able to play. Shelving Stafford freed up a roster spot which the Lions used to promote safety Randy Phillips from the practice squad.

The status report for the players named on the final injury report looks like this:

Out
Matthew Stafford

Doubtful
Louis Delmas

Questionable
Shaun Hill
Landon Johnson
Drew Stanton

Probable
Cliff Avril
Jahvid Best
Vinny Ciurciu
Lawrence Jackson
Calvin Johnson
Turk McBride
Maurice Morris
Amari Spievey

By NFL definition, injury report status is listed as follows:
Out = Player will not play
Doubtful = 25% chance a player will play
Questionable = 50% chance a player will play
Probable = 75% chance a player will play
