Detroit Lions Release Player Status Report for Game Against Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Matthew Stafford is the only Detroit Lion officially listed as “out” for Sunday’s game in Tampa.

Early in the week, it was thought that Landon Johnson might play just a week after having to leave the field on a cart. That now appears unlikely as he has been listed as doubtful to face the Buccaneers.

Willie Young was not listed on the injury report earlier in the week but did not practice today for non-injury reasons. His status for Sunday is unknown.

The secrecy surrounding the Lions quarterback situation has not been lifted as Shaun Hill is marked as questionable and the coaching staff has provided no hints about what direction they will be going. Brian Clark, Vinny Ciurciu and Cliff Avril have also been designated as questionable after practicing with restrictions today.

Players listed as probable to play are Jahvid Best, Turk McBride, Maurice Morris, DeAndre Levy. All were limited in today’s practice except for Levy who was a full participant.

By NFL definition, injury report status is listed as follows:
Out = Player will not play
Doubtful = 25% chance a player will play
Questionable = 50% chance a player will play
Probable = 75% chance a player will play
