Thursday is the day that the predictions and projections start rolling in for the NFL games to be played on Sunday. I posted what Accuscore has to say earlier today, now it is time to look at a game simulation run by the folks at EA Sports in the Madden 11 video game.

Madden 11 is coming to a similar conclusion as Accuscore: the Lions figure to lose. The game played between digital men produced another defensive battle with the Bucs coming out on top 16-10.

With the game tied at 10 heading into the fourth quarter, you had to know that, even as a “Madden” quarterback, Josh Freeman was going to win this one for the Bucs. And that’s exactly what happened in the simulation as Freeman led Tampa on two late scoring drives to beat Detroit, 16-10.
