Vikings fans traveled in impressive numbers to Ford Field. It felt like they were able to just about fill the three sections reserved for them. Thanks to my Uncle Dan, I was able to get myself smack dab in the middle of this sea of purple. The photo above is a view looking to the left from my seat in row 17 on the 45 yard line.
The photo below is of the group that surrounded me. It was a well behaved crowd, even towards the kid in the Ahman Green jersey. I must say, the Viking women sure can yell. If you don’t believe me, just ask my right ear. The yelling was preferable, however, to the occasional belch that also flew over my shoulder. The atmosphere in the Vikings section was pretty good, even as their team started falling behind. Few fans actually sat in their seats; even when there was a break in the action most remained standing.

Zac Snyder got hooked on the Lions after his dad took him to a Monday Night Football game against the Los Angeles Raiders in 1990. The show put on by Barry Sanders and Bo Jackson that night was only surpassed by what Zac could do with Barry in a game of Tecmo Super Bowl.
