Man and Machine Agree that Green Bay Packers Will Take Down Detroit Lions

We have checked in with the ESPN panel of experts quite a few times to see what they think the Lions stand a chance on Sunday. It seems that the Lions are becoming unanimous picks to lose on a more frequent basis.

You didn’t think that would change this week with the Green Bay Packers coming to town, did you?

Sure enough, all eight ESPN game pickers are playing it safe and picking the Packers. You can check out the rest of their picks for the other NFL games at ESPN.com.

The picks of man are easily swayed, could it be that the ESPN personalities have been deceived? Unfortunately, Madden 11 video game simulation agrees with the ESPN panel. Madden 11 says the Lions will stuff the Green Bay running game but Aaron Rodgers will have a big day and lead the Packers to a 27-14 win.

Drew Stanton might know how to Dougie, but Aaron Rodgers knows how to win. Rodgers completed 23 of 31 passes for 327 yards and two touchdowns to help Green Bay earn its ninth win of the season so far. Rookie Jahvid Best ran for 95 yards and one touchdown in the loss for Detroit.

Player of the Game: Aaron Rodgers
