Detroit Lions QB Shaun Hill claims that a New England Patriots player tried to re-break his arm Thursday at the bottom of a pile. Hill, who has been playing with a broken left (non-throwing) forearm that hasn’t healed, said the play happened on a QB sneak in the second quarter.

Heading into the season, it was universally accepted that the Detroit Lions defense was going to be the team’s biggest weakness. While it certainly hasn’t been stellar, it wasn’t as bad as predicted.

Detroit Lions rookie Ndamukong Suh had his No. 93 jersey retired during a halftime ceremony at the Colorado-Nebraska game.
