What I am thankful for with the Lions…
D- Line: For once I can comfortably say that it seems as if the Lions have a competitive D Line. With a team struggling this much in the long run, you have to start somewhere and the D Line seems to be a good spot.
Jim Schwartz: You can judge his clock management, attitude towards the media, and his lifetime record as head coach but let’s be honest, there seems to be a new mentality in town that the Rod Marinellis, Steve Mariuccis and so on just didn’t seem to bring to the table.
Matt Millen is gone: This goes without saying Detroit fans; hopefully he doesn’t find his way to the booth Thursday like he seems to have for every other big football game this year.
Receiving Corps: with the exception of Bryant Johnson, the receiving corps (including Tight Ends) have put up a pretty good show this season despite the overall record
Shaun Hill: The record doesn’t reflect it, but Shaun Hill has been bittersweet. When a starting QB goes down, back ups are held to a standard to provide their team with a chance to win. You can’t expect the guy to be a pro bowler. I mean who are we, the Philadelphia Eagles? Hill has provided good quality effort in 7 starts.
