It may seem to Detroit Lions fans as if their cause is hopeless following Sunday’s 14-12 loss to the previously winless Buffalo Bills. It marked Detroit’s 25th consecutive road defeat, setting an NFL record for futility away from home.
One of my personal philosophies is that if you’re going to do something, you might as well get noticed for it. That’s not always a good thing, of course. It appears that C.C. Brown of the Detroit Lions sees it that way.
Jon Kitna and Roy Williams had some memorable times together with the Lions, like … like … OK, so Kitna and Williams didn’t accomplish much in Detroit, but they are two of the more recognizable names of the Matt Millen era.
Zac Snyder got hooked on the Lions after his dad took him to a Monday Night Football game against the Los Angeles Raiders in 1990. The show put on by Barry Sanders and Bo Jackson that night was only surpassed by what Zac could do with Barry in a game of Tecmo Super Bowl.
