Kenny, Moose and Goose Will Call Detroit Lions-Dallas Cowboys Game

A typical game played between two 2-7 teams wouldn’t draw a broadcast network’s number two broadcast team. As NFL fans know, the typical is thrown out the window when the Dallas Cowboys are involved.

Kenny Albert will be on the play-by-play and will be joined in the booth by former Cowboys fullback Daryl “Moose” Johnston. Tony Siragusa, “Goose” for short, will roam (let me know if there is a better use of the word roam, I doubt there is) around at field level.

As usual, SideLion Report staffers will be here during the game. Join our live blog to give your thoughts, feelings, and laments about the game. Use the box below to set up an email reminder for yourself (and maybe a few friends).

Talk about scanning the savannah . . . Tony Siragusa is a freakin’ wildebeest.

Will the Lions running woes continue Sunday? Kevin Smith Inactive with a broken thumb, Aaron Brown Active. I would like to see the Lion’s skip right over Maurice Morris and give the former TCU standout a shot. I think he can add speed and agility to the back field. Despite injuries this season, I feel like this game could be a good indicator for Brown’s future with the Lion’s.
