The Lions are the best darn 2-6 team in the NFL. I don’t mean that as an insult. It’s true. The Lions are like most teams that are learning how to win — the improvement comes before the victories.
Think of the ramifications of a loss in Buffalo. That would bring the Bills’ record to just 1-8 on the season. Last season the St. Louis Rams came into Detroit and beat the Lions for their only win.
Detroit Lions coach Jim Schwartz reiterated on Wednesday what he said on Monday, that he isn’t going to share any news when it comes to often-injured quarterback Matthew Stafford, who will not play on Sunday at Buffalo as he recovers from a right shoulder injury.
