The Detroit Lions are getting healthier but 13 players still appear on the week 9 injury report. The good news is that just two of those players are listed as out for Sunday’s game against the New York Jets. Those players are safety C.C. Brown and linebacker Isaiah Ekejiuba.
Shaun Hill is listed as doubtful as he works his way back from a broken non-throwing arm.
Ashlee Palmer and Kevin Smith are listed as questionable. Both players were limited in practice all week.
Louis Delmas, Brandon Pettigrew, Jahvid Best, Bryant Johnson, Calvin Johnson, DeAndre Levy, Turk McBride, and Matthew Stafford are listed as probable. Delmas was the only player of the group that saw any practice limitations during the week.
By NFL definition, injury report status is listed as follows:
Out = Player will not play
Doubtful = 25% chance a player will play
Questionable = 50% chance a player will play
Probable = 75% chance a player will play
