The Morning Fix

We’ve all celebrated Calvin Johnson for his freakish physical attributes, but I thought Sunday was arguably the toughest performance I’ve seen from him.

Who would have guessed that after seven games that the Detroit Lions would be tied with the Minnesota Vikings in the NFC North.

Too bad it is for last place in the division and not first place as some people thought the Vikings would be at this point.

The monster defensive tackle of the Detroit Lions was rumbling toward the goal line, the football looking like a miniature facsimile tucked inside his massive arm.

Is Sunday a turning point for the Detroit Lions?

Could be. I didn’t see the win coming at halftime Sunday. The fans booed the team off the field. The conservative playcalling was horrendous in the first half. The youth football teams on the field at halftime had more creativity than the Lions coaches.
