I have to agree with you Zac. Moss is definitely a guy who could get on a team and make an impact right away. But lets face it, the lions aren't exactly contending for the Super Bowl this year. Although they are making progress, I feel like they are a few years/draft picks away. A guy like Moss might help us on the field in the short term, but not the long term; he's too old. Now, with the news of Shawn Merriman being waived, I wouldn't be against the idea of bringing him in if we can get like a 2-3 year deal. The Lions could benefit from another veteran along side KVB in the box.

I think picking up moss would be a great situation with a such young team bringing a veteran in like moss would only help the team grow. he is not afraid to tell it like it is and would call the slackers out.making the team work harder.i would use him opposite of Calvin it would be make the lions a hard to beat team. but i would trade him in the off season for somebody good... for some good offensive linemen or a star in the defensive secondary levy is good but is far from being a Ray Lewis or Clay Matthews. we need leverage for high quality trades to shape a Superbowl champion team....

so my opinion is Take him there is nothing to loose we needed one more opportunity like this and it just presented itself

I wouldn't be in favor of it but I can see why it intrigues some people. The Lions have taken too many positive steps forward to risk a move like this.
