Moss is definitely a guy who could get on a team and make an impact right away. But lets face it, the lions aren't exactly contending for the Super Bowl this year. Although they are making progress, I feel like they are a few years/draft picks away. A guy like Moss might help us on the field in the short term, but not the long term; he's too old. Now, with the news of Shawn Merriman being waived, I wouldn't be against the idea of bringing him in if we can get like a 2-3 year deal.
