This was just one of several moments where the Redskins were visibly frustrated yesterday. Part of me is tempted to say "if it had not been for the Banks runback for a touchdown and Burleson losing the ball on that 25 yard play, this wouldn't have been a close game", but one could also say "if Washington hadn't shot themselves in the foot with penalties at 2-3 crucial moments (encroachment on a field goal try to give Detroit a fresh set of downs on the 4 yd line) this game could have been completely different". All in all, some great performances (esp our D-line), and a sigh of relief as Stafford seemed to find a groove again despite sitting for 7 weeks.
