Lions vs. Redskins Injury Report

Paula Pasche of the Oakland Press posted the injury report for the Lions game against the Redskins:

LIONS — LB Zack Follett (IR) and AB Shaun Hill (forearm) are out. WR Bryant Johnson (foot), MLB DeAndre Levy (ankle) and DE Turk McBride (ankle) are questionable. RB Jahvid Best (turf toe), S Louis Delmas (groin) and DT Andre Fluellen (concussion) are probable.

REDSKINS — RB Clinton Portis (groin) is out. T Jammal Brown (hip), T Stephon Heyer (ankle), S LaRon Landry (Achilles), S Kareem Moore (knee), FB Mike Sellers (foot), TE Chris Cooley (foot), CB DeAngelo Hall (back), G Kory Lichtensteiger (back), QB Donovan McNabb (hamstring), LB Brian Orakpo (ankle), C Casey Rabach (foot) and RB Chad Simpson (hamstring).

It looks like the only key player that will be missing the game is backup quarterback Shaun Hill. DeAndre Levy and Turk McBride are listed as questionable, but I’m pretty sure Levy will play. Jahvid Best, although listed as probable, says he is close to a 100 percent. That is great news as the Lions need him to produce more than the 3.2 yards per carry he has been for the first six games this year.
