SideLion Report Has You Covered During Sunday’s Blackout

If a tree falls in the forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound? What if the tree falls and a couple million people are around to hear it but NFL rules prohibit the sound from reaching those people?

8,500 tickets remained at today’s blackout deadline, far too many to warrant a 24-hour extension to sell the unsold tickets. Lions fans living outside the blackout zone will receive the game on Fox with play-by-play from Sam Rosen and color commentary from Tim Ryan.

Whether you are inside or outside of the blackout be sure to join us for our weekly live blog during the game. Make sure you’ve checked out our giveaway because we will be drawing the winner at halftime.

According to the506.com, the metropolitan Detroit region will see Tennessee at San Diego (Ian Eagle, Dan Fouts) on CBS and Minnesota at New England (Thom Brennaman, Troy Aikman) on Fox at 4 p.m.
