According to multiple sources, including Adam Schefter, Linebacker Zack Follett was released from a New Jersey hospital earlier today. Follett, who had tweeted last night that he was okay, is set to return to Detroit to get a second opinion.

Tom Kowalski is also reporting that the Lions maybe on the verge of releasing Wide Receiver Bryant Johnson after a bad game yesterday.

Lastly, Jermon Meredith, who was picked off waivers by the Lions a few weeks ago was released by the Lions, but claimed by the Giants. To fill his spot, the Lions signed cornerback Paul Pratt from the practice squad.
