Tony Scheffler agrees to 3 year extension

The Detroit Lions have agreed to a three year contract extension with Tight End Tony Scheffler. Scheffler was traded from the Denver Broncos to the Lions as part of a three team deal that sent LB Ernie Sims to the Eagles and an Eagles 5th rounder to the Broncos. Scheffler is currently 6th in the NFL amongst tight ends in receptions with 24.
