The Detroit Lions will be another man down in their already thin secondary.
Undrafted rookie Aaron Berry came up with an interception in his first professional game but also came down with a shoulder injury that will require surgery and keep him off the field for the rest of the year.
The injury is a re-occurrence of a right shoulder injury he sustained in college with the Pitt Panthers. Berry had felt his shoulder wouldn’t be a problem according to an interview he did prior to the draft with DraftNasty.com.
The Lions signed former Bears defensive back Nathan Vasher on Monday.
