All-NFC North Squad Is Set, Division vs. Division Voting Begins Soon

The All-NFC North defensive and special teams came together much more easily than the offensive side of the ball. The four NFC North blogs (SideLion Report, Bear Goggles On, The Viking Age, and Lombardi Ave) came to an agreement on all four special teams starters as well as ten of the eleven defensive spots. Lions rookie Ndamukong Suh made the squad after beating out Pat Williams, Tommie Harris, and B.J. Raji via fan vote.

The Chicago Bears lead the way with four selections to the defensive team and will be joined by three Green Bay Packers, two Detroit Lions, and two Minnesota Vikings.

DE: Julius Peppers – CHI, Jared Allen – MIN
DT: Kevin Williams – MIN, Ndamukong Suh – DET
LB: Lance Briggs – CHI, Brian Urlacher – CHI, Clay Matthews – GB
CB: Charles Woodson – GB, Charles Tillman – CHI
S: Nick Collins – GB, Louis Delmas – DET

Special Teams
K: Robbie Gould – CHI
P: Chris Kluwe – MIN
KR: Percy Harvin -MIN
PR: Devin Hester – CHI

So what happens from here? Well, the FanSided big wigs will take our NFC North roster and match it up against one of the other NFC divisional rosters in a poll. Voters will select who they think would win a hypothetical game between the two squads and the division that receives the most votes will move on to the next round. The voting rounds continue until one divisional All-Star team remains.

I will post links to all the polls so check in periodically. This process should take us right up to the start of training camp, just in time to start talking about real teams instead of hypothetical teams.
