Who’s the better Drunk, Culter or Orton… NEITHER! A CHALLENGER APPEARS!

AUTHOR: Kevin Ferguson | IN: Lions | COMMENTS: 1 Comment

so look here at beargoggles.com
That’s Jay Cutler
Possibly, as it would be implied by the article and the pictures, under the influence.

now this:
Orton. Clearly under the influence as well pointed out in the pictures.

You can compare the two, obviously because of the trade and all. But…WHAT ABOUT THE GLORY?

Look dudes, I’m a Lions fan and we were 0-16, including that last handing over of the ass by the Bears in week 17.
But in this arena? WE GOTCHA. Got it? We win with our master challenger, Matt Stafford.
He has partied longer, he has partied harder and he has bagged WAYYYY hotter chicks.

Mike Vick Steps Foot On The Field Again… For 6 Plays

AUTHOR: Kevin Ferguson | IN: Lions | COMMENTS: 2 Comments

The Vick experiment was like watching the premiere episode of your favorite TV show. It’s thrilling for the first few minutes, then it cools down, and finally you end up slightly disappointed. Vick looked fine. I just don’t see how he’s going to help this team if he only gets 10 to 15 snaps per game.
from our network blog Inside The Iggles
Sadly I didn’t get to see it. Thanks to the good people at the Fox Network and their brilliant deductions about regional coverage, I (and you) were treated to a rousing matchup between The Dolphins of Miami and The [...]

Rough Preseason Outing Against Cleveland

AUTHOR: Kevin Ferguson | IN: Lions | COMMENTS: 3 Comments

I was working so I didn’t get to sit down and pick the game apart, I did however watch Stafford make a mess of himself.
It was a pretty disastrous outing, aside from the sack to recovered fumble I didn’t see much to give me hope for the new season.
We’ll get in depth on it later, I’ve got my DVR set to record the replay (NFL Network, 10am I think if you’re an early bird reading this) and I’ll skim it and really try to soak this in.
I saw a lot of the first quarter and sweet lord did [...]

SO… the HD NFL Network Broadcast is Blacked out for the WWJ Local Broadcast…

AUTHOR: Kevin Ferguson | IN: Lions | COMMENTS: 1 Comment

for the Lions Preseason game against the atlanta falcons
now, it’s annoying that the real broadcast is blacked out out and delayed til 8pm
granted, right?
But here is what drives me absolutely insane:
NFL network produces *fabulous* and *beautiful* high def broadcasts
this was blacked out. In lieu of what? The channel 62 abortion with that obnoxious douche Desmond Howard. YOU HAD ONE GAME. *ONE* GAME, THAT’S ALL YOU’RE WORTH. YOU CASHED IN WITH A MEDIOCRE CONTRACT WITH A DESPERATE LIONS TEAM AND YOU DID NOTHING SPECIAL.
blah.
and the White balancing.
if you don’t know what that is, its a Camera term [...]

SideLionReport’s Madden 2010 Quick Look Review

AUTHOR: Kevin Ferguson | IN: Lions | COMMENTS: 5 Comments

So every year we get a new Madden Football.
Madden is under consistent criticism from the gaming community for year in and year out being merely a ‘Roster Update’.
Sometimes, it’s true. The first 3 years for the franchise on the Xbox 360 were positively unbearable. NCAA committed this crime in the 2008 and 2009 iterations. I know I felt burned when I popped in NCAA 2009 and it was a carbon copy of the game I paid $60 for the year prior.
This year of Madden has initiated some noticeable changes.
I whipped up a shoddy video to show you two things that [...]

It’s Just Sports: Jemele Hill on Charles Rogers

AUTHOR: Kevin Ferguson | IN: Lions | COMMENTS: 1 Comment

Read it all here
Following the coverage of Hamilton’s relapse, it is pretty clear that the Rangers as an organization have a basic understanding of the seriousness of drug and alcohol addiction and have at least publicly made efforts to put a support system in place for Hamilton. Did the Lions do this with Rogers?
In some ways, yes, and in some ways, no. After his first collarbone break, the Lions did the right thing by keeping him involved in team activities. Charles was still going to meetings and hanging around the facility. They kept him engaged. According to both Matt Millen [...]
