Yes of coarse Mathew Stafford will be the Starting QB. I was only saying that Stanton should keep the Back-up QB position and not even bring Griese in camp. Stafford I believe will be a much better starting QB than Griese or Stanton.In order for Stanton to get a starting QB position he would have to go to another TEAM. And even then He only fits so many teams. If the Eagles needed a good backup QB then Stanton would be the QB they should be looking for.

Even if Stanton shows us something, he’s not getting paid like Matt Stafford is getting paid.
Stafford is the starter. If not now, next year. Stafford is the franchise and he is paid accordingly. The guys around him need to be salty dogs of the league. Guys that will take a few snaps or start a few games if the kid is hurt. If Stanton was at all the future in the opinion of the new coaching regime, they wouldn’t have drafted a QB first overall.

What exactly is Brian Griese supposed to teach Stafford? How to lose and not make it as the NO.1 pick to the NFL.
At least Stanton hasn’t realy got to show what he has yet.
And the Offensive Coordinator Linehan thinks that DREW can be a good backup behind Stafford and Dante.
Sorry can’t agree to this one.
In fact I would see that as a big mistake.
Stanton has a differant style than Dante and Matt.However I would much rather have Stanton as the back up QB rather than Griese.
