It’s a “new” logo… They added a brush stroke here and there and gave bubbles a face. I don’t like the letters like that, I prefer the block letters in black and blue they were using in 2005. But it is all a matter of preference in the end, right?
The changes are at best asinine, we’ll see how it all looks when its put together in a uniform.

I fail to see what's asinine about it. It adds slightly more detail since that's what the masses were crying for-- but thankfully it remains a classic heraldic lion instead of going with some overwrought cartoon bullshit.
That said, the font is indeed terrible.

I love football. I'm bad at Names. I'd love to disown the Lions, but I can't. Ever since Barry made his way into my 12 mind and made me love the game, I have emotion and passion for the Detroit Lions, good or bad. Lately, mostly bad. But we're turning it around this year... I'm buying in.
