C’mon Culpepper! Let’s Get It Done!
Kerry Collins is doing it. Kurt Warner is doing it. And as if it isn’t all too familiar, Jeff Garcia is doing it. So why not come out of nowhere and be successful?
I’m tired of flogging the bad talent horse. I’m tired of losing and I’m tired of the Marinelli pressers after yet another loss. Just win one for godsakes so we can stop with the ‘historical’ season crap. It’s growing more and more annoying everyday.
We as fans are tired of being a joke. There is nothing good going on in this city, GM and Ford Exec’s are flying out to Washington in private jets to beg for public money, they just whacked thousands of jobs and many many many more cuts are to come. There is no good news to report. So how about a win? One silly little win in a silly little game that is merely a blissful distraction from the grim reality around us.
So give us one. Make us feel good for a day.
It’s all going to come down to a defensive stand. The Lions defense is nothing short of reprehensible, but listen up Lions D, you’ve been given a rare gift: Tampa’s Star Rusher is out. Can’t play, done, IR’d. Take advantage of the situation and take them off guard. Take away the run and pressure the passer into creating turnovers.
Can’t see the game on TV, there are around 7000 outstanding tickets. Odds are you know where you can see it online (*cough*ghostofwaynefonts*cough*) and you can listen to it on 97.1 FM ‘The Ticket’. Happy football day, Go State! (and even go blue).
