Is Kitna Packing His Bags For Dallas Right Now?

Posted by: Kevin Ferguson

Did you hear the Marinelli presser? Very, VERY vague. Some strange energy is swirling around at Allen Park today; I didn’t make a big deal about it yesterday or even mention it, but Kitna did not travel with the team yesterday. They said he was undergoing treatment, I said okay, whatever because last week I felt that Kitna may have taken his last snap as a Lion against the Bears.

Well, the situation just done got REAL yo!  Tony Romo has a broken thumb and he is out for 4 to 6 weeks. Who is their backup? Yeah, I don’t know either. Funny how this National Football League works, a guy that isn’t worth much on the free market is one injury away from being a hot commodity. If you watched Sunday Night Football, you witnessed that Cassel is not a guy that can carry the Pats either, thats a possibility too. But unlikely, when was the last time they’ve given up anything in a trade?

Roy Williams may end up in this deal as well, could you see the Lions packaging up Kitna and Williams in a trade with Dallas? I think the major impetus for whether or not it all goes down is who wants what and for how much. If the Lions are asking for a pair of 1st round picks, that’s just not going to happen.

Odds are we’ll know what’s going on by tomorrow.

            BallHype: hype it up!
