Didn't the Drill Sergeant tell us last season that putting him on IR didn't hurt his development because he wouldn't be getting much action anyway? So was he lying, ignorant, or just parroting what Martz told him? Anybody, even a middle-aged non-football playing hack like me knew that they were shooting themselves dead in the ass with the whole QB goat-rope. WTF were they thinking? As for Campbell, speaking as a former Army officer, I have no problem with this. The rule was passed after he enrolled at Hudson High, and he's said from the first that he's perfectly happy going to Iraq if that's the way it pans out. He's not shirking anything. He's been given the rules, and he's playing by them. More power to him. Besides, I think I saw that he's an Air Defense puke. That's barely even the real army.
