The NFL announced today the Detroit Lions will not be losing to the Indianapolis Colts in the coming exhibition season, as previously scheduled. The Lions will instead be losing to the defending Super Bowl champion New York Giants.

The New York Giants will now visit the Detroit Lions on Thursday, August 7, and the Carolina Panthers will host the Indianapolis Colts on Saturday, August 9 in the first week of the preseason.

Adjust your schedules accordingly, if for some ungodly reason, you actually want to attend a boring ass exhibition game in the middle of August.
