Thank for the dap, AYBY! I agree there are few "vital" players. Williams (best reciever), Sims (best defender), Kitna (as bad as he can be, Kitna is the only QB barely worth a plugged nickel) , maybe Calvin Johnson, and if you streeetch it, possibly Jeff Backus.

I really like the idea of your Lions drinking game. You NEED to tell me more! I see a post possibility!

Love this blog guys! I did laugh at the line "I spend the entire exhibition season on pins and needles, hoping no one vital to the Lions’ chances get hurt." I don't ever wish for any player to get hurt, but there are only about three players "vital" to the lions, including Ernie Sims, Roy Williams, and... well, two players I guess.I do have a top runner for first player injured, and that his the bald tackling dummy himself, Jon Kitna. I don't understand how, but our offensive line got worse. In the relative confines of the mike martz offense it was was horrible last year. So what did we do? We let Woody go and resigned old georgie foster, who got benched last year after my friends and I made a drinking game out of the penalties he committed (got hammered by the way). We then let go of Kevin Jones and TJ Duckett, our two most prolific (as prolific as a lion can be) running backs last year. So now we have a worse o-line and worse running back depth/talent. That means that teams will be zeroing in on the pass rush and only making things worse... damn i hate matt millen...
